Parents stretch limited resources while trying to feed their children, pay rent, and keep the lights on. Newcomers navigate an unfamiliar country without the language skills or support they need. Parents struggle to afford diapers, formula, and other basic supplies for their babies.
These are not statistics. They are our neighbors.
nOURish BRIDGEPORT responds every day through direct-service programs designed to address hunger, education, family stability, and access to nutritious food.

- $100: Can provide a complete Thanksgiving dinner for a local family through THANKSGIVING FEAST IN A BOX.
- $500: Helps provide food and essential support to a family over several weeks.

Many Bridgeport neighborhoods have limited access to affordable, fresh, and nutritious food. At the same time, reductions in public assistance and rising household expenses are bringing more families through our doors.
SNAP benefits provide critical support, but for many households they do not last through the entire month.
The difference between the assistance a family receives and the food it actually needs is often called the SNAP gap.
When benefits run out, families may be forced to choose between groceries, rent, utilities, transportation, medicine, and other essential expenses.
Your donation helps fill that gap.
Through our SUPER FOOD PANTRY, FEEL THE WARMTH MOBILE HOT MEALS, INDOOR HYDROPONIC FARM, BABY CENTER, FOOD HUB, and other community programs, nOURish BRIDGEPORT helps ensure that families do not fall through the cracks.

Every donation helps nOURish BRIDGEPORT provide consistent, practical support to neighbors throughout Bridgeport and the surrounding region.
- Thousands of individuals receive groceries through our SUPER FOOD PANTRY.
- Hot, nutritious meals are prepared and served every Thursday through our FEEL THE WARMTH MOBILE HOT MEALS.
- More than 400 babies receive diapers, formula, baby food, and wipes each month through our BABY CENTER.
- Thousands of volunteers contribute their time each year across our food, education, farm, and community programs.
- Adult learners develop English-language, financial-literacy, computer, and citizenship skills through our ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM.
- Fresh produce is grown throughout the year in our INDOOR HYDROPONIC FARM and distributed to schools, pantries, and community organizations.
- Families experiencing crisis receive confidential grocery support through our partnership with The Center for Family Justice.
Every dollar helps sustain these programs and allows us to reach neighbors who still need support.
